Troy is beginning to enjoy reading books on his own. (He used to call this "reading in his forehead.") The scene pictured below does not last for long periods of time, but it is a joy to see when it does!
Kamryn and I spent yesterday at the Fine Arts Festival for our Christian school district. This year it was held at the Chrystal Cathedral which was kind of fun. Kamryn was chosen to go for a speech, a creative writing story, and a clarinet solo. She represented well and had fun along the way!
This picture makes me laugh because Kamryn is rarely seen wearing a dress.
The kids who performed piano solos got to play in the actual cathedral. Not the easiest to do!
