Kamryn's Freshman year of basketball came to an end this evening. It was a season of learning and gaining experience. The team was not as successful as they had hoped on the court, but had fun together and still played some exciting basketball. Kam had the honor of starting many games on varsity as a Freshman. She earned a lot of playing time and was the high scorer in a few games, too. She already knows what she wants to work on for next season. We had fun watching the games with a group of faithful fans. Go #12! Go Eagles!

RCS Cross Country Meet
Seventy-five degrees and sunny...What a great day for a cross-country meet! Troy and several other elementary-aged students competed in a meet today. It was fun watching all the kids compete. Troy takes these pretty seriously and his dedication paid off. He came in first in his age group and ran a 5 min, 56 sec. mile! You can see at the end he was hurting, but didn't throw up this time. :-) It was fun watching the kids support each other. Thankful for these opportunities for our kids!
Playing Some Basketball
Wanted to document some pics of one of Kam's home basketball games. The girls haven't had the most successful season, but Kamryn is still enjoying it. (Although losing drives her crazy!) She has the honor of being a starter, which is exciting. She has a love for unique basketball shoes and crazy socks. (She's wearing cow socks in this game.) We love watching Kam on the court and look forward to a great high school career.
