A Day at the Beach

We are having a fabulous time in Florida! It always takes a couple days for us to settle in and relax. We headed out to St. Pete's beach for a little outing and it proved to be a beautiful spot to spend a few hours. Swimming, digging and lounging was how we spent the day!

Easter

Happy Easter from Florida! We hope you had a blessed day. We had a great day as a family. We continue to be amazed and thankful for the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

This is really an out-take, but I love the two sisters trying to keep the little brother in line! (This happens a lot.) Notice his look of absolute JOY!

Jersey Spot

We celebrated the beginning of Spring Break by visiting our favorite local ice cream spot. We called up our pals, The Borsts, and headed out on a beautiful evening to sit outside and soak up feelings of Spring while enjoying a great treat!

New Boots

In Michigan they play Spring soccer in addition to the fall season. Katie is playing JV at her highschool and Troy will begin his season of PurePlay after Spring Break. I found some soccer cleats for him the other night. He was pretty excited and can't wait to get out on the field. He had to try out the new boots and I must say looked pretty good! I loved his comment on receiving the shoes, "I wonder how fast they are on me."

Grillin'

Last night Scott fired up the grill for the first time this season. What a treat-grilled hamburgers on March 31st! It was a beautiful evening. It always amazes me how everyone comes outside again after hibernation during the winter. Scott's cracking up because he was trying to pose and looked a little, let's just say, unnatural.

Southern California Beauty

Scott and I had the opportunity to visit Southern California this past weekend. We had some trouble with flights, but eventually made it. Where else but California can you experience palm trees, orange groves, and snow capped mountains at the same time!

Another sight which may have some significance for some people...What a beautiful building!

On A Brighter Note...

Glad to say the snow has melted and we are back to Spring around here! Katie and her friends attended the "neon" twirp dance the other night at school. Here's the group at a friend's house before the dance.

Looking forward to this again...

Scott and I are doing some traveling this weekend. The weeks are FLYING by! Lots to think and pray about!
